Coordinator, Teacher, & Paraprofessionals

  • The coordinator, teacher & paraprofessional are dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and challenging educational environment that promotes learning and achievement.

    Qualified & Experienced

    The coordinator, teacher and paraprofessional are qualified and experienced. They have completed the following requirements:

    • Missouri State Highway Patrol background check 
    • Federal Bureau of Investigation background check
    • The Family Care Safety Registry background screening 
    • Missouri Department of Health Services Child Care Regulation Medical Examination
    • Missouri Department of Health Services Bureau of Communicable Disease Control & Prevention Tuberculosis Risk Assessment & Clearance

Coordinator, Learning Facilitator, & Teacher

  • The child development & teaching laboratory coordinator, learning facilitator and teacher has at least a BSEd, certifications in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, and Facility Director Certification from the Missouri Department of Health Services- Child Care Regulation Division. The child development & teaching laboratory coordinator, learning facilitator and teacher has completed the following requirements

    • Missouri State Highway Patrol background check 
    • Federal Bureau of Investigation background check
    • The Family Care Safety Registry background screening 
    • Missouri Department of Health Services Child Care Regulation- Medical Examination

Ms. Mallams (Coordinator, Learning Facilitator, & Teacher)

  • Ms. Mallams Ms. Mallams is a Liberty High School graduate and has a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education and certifications in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. In addition, Ms. Mallams has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and two vocational certificates in the Facilitation of Learning and Learning Center Management. Ms. Mallams has over ten years of experience as an early learning facilitator, preschool enrichment teacher, and special services paraprofessional and is a Certified Care Facility Director through the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services- Child Care Regulation Division.

     

Paraprofessionals

  • The child development & teaching laboratory paraprofessionals have specialized training in early childhood development, a Substitute Teacher Certificate and/or have completed at least 60 college credit hours of education.

    • Missouri State Highway Patrol & the Federal Bureau of Investigation Background check
    • The Family Care Safety Registry Background screening

Mrs. Samson (Morning Learning Session Paraprofessional)

  • Mrs. Samson Mrs. Samson is a Liberty High School graduate and went onto the University of Missouri where she received a Bachelor of Journalism degree. She is an advanced equestrian and has numerous years of experience as a journalist and freelance writer. Mrs. Samson has three wonderful children.

     

Mrs. Stark (Afternoon Learning Session Paraprofessional)

  • Mrs. StarkMrs. Stark graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and went onto Johnson County Community College where she received an Associates of Science degree in Graphic Design. In her free time, Mrs. Stark enjoys volunteering with the Liberty Robotics team, going to movies, baking, and family game nights. Mrs. Stark has three wonderful children.
